The Gateway Parish was established on 4th November 2007 and is one of the parishes of the House on the Rock Churches worldwide with its Head Quarters in Lagos. House on the Rock, Lagos City Church (HQ) was birthed on December 4, 1994 and has Paul A. Adefarasin as the Senior Pastor and Superintendent General.

A. Our Purpose:

We believe that God has called us to bring people to connect with Him and become part of His family,and to assist them to discover their gifts and life's purpose, and inspire them to develop a Christ like character to the intent that we all bring glory to Him by becoming positive change agents in the world.

We are The Hand of Power, the Voice of healing and the Bridge of hope to the Nations

C. Our Faith:

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is God`s inspired and authoritative perspective on life and is a positive resource for contemporary living.

We believe that God creates everyone for a purpose, and our aim is to help everyone discover that purpose, to the intent that they might be all that God called them to be and do all that God called them to do in the spirit of Excellence and in a manner that reflects Jesus.
